I'm Aldreijana Meister, though many know me as Venus. A steadfast advocate for self-growth and a passionate promoter of mental health awareness, I believe in the transformative power of inner strength and emotional well-being.
My journey took an unexpected turn in September of 2021 when I faced a heartbreaking loss – my beloved sister's passing, a result of the devastating grip of suicide. On that very day, as we openly discussed her struggles, we were confronted with the harsh reality of limited mental health resources due to financial constraints. Our search for help was met with challenges, leaving us with a profound sense of helplessness.
The loss of my sister was a turning point that ignited a burning commitment within me. It became evident that no one should endure the pain of unmet mental health needs due to financial barriers. In collaboration with her cherished ones, we embarked on a journey of hope and change, giving birth to the Araceli Meister Foundation.
Armed with the memories of my sister's unwavering spirit and a shared vision, the foundation was founded to bridge the gaps in mental health support. It's named in her honor – a tribute to the strength she possessed and a testament to our determination to prevent others from facing similar circumstances.
